To preserve unobstructed views from the open entrance space toward the exterior as much as possible, a glass screen system was proposed in which the lower portion consists of wide horizontal glass panels spanning between columns, while the upper portion is composed of vertically divided glass ribs.
The large-format horizontal glass utilizes some of the largest tempered and tempered laminated glass manufactured domestically. At the corners, the framing is designed to appear as though it is floating, creating an exceptional sense of transparency and lightness.
During the design process, the glass rib configuration evolved significantly — from an initial scheme with four divisions and three ribs to a refined solution using only a single central glass rib. This enhancement resulted in an even greater level of visual transparency and spatial openness.
